From the west of Ireland, Freddie has honed his film craft in London, developing a distinctive cinematic style that fuses artistic and historical visual references. Known for his use of analogue camera techniques, he seamlessly blends them with groundbreaking visual effects to create striking, immersive imagery. His films, which both reference art and stand as artworks in their own right, have made him internationally sought after — trusted by the most prestigious names in the art world and beyond.
His groundbreaking new narrative short film FARMERS!? was shot in Ireland and is currently on the festival circuit. In 2024, Freddie began a collaboration with Mercury Music Prize-nominated artist Bat For Lashes, directing the accompanying film to her new album The Dream of Delphi: A New Transmission.
